You could try to tune down the effects in your computer. I wouldn't know how to do this, but there are literally millions of websites on the Google that can tell you how. Tuning down the effects will make it so the computer doesn't have to process so much, and therefore it won't lag.How can I get rid of computer game lag?
Woah boy. The thing about computers is that there could be several different possible causes for the lag. Such as you video card or your processer beginning to fail. Check the Task Manager with Ctrl + Alt + Del to see if anything in particular is taking up most of your CPU or if the Ram. If something is then you can end the process. However do your research and look up what the process is and see if it will affect your computer. Ending Explorer would just screw you over. How can I get rid of computer game lag?
First try updating your video card drivers by going to the manufacturers website and updating them there, then do your audio card as well. Try it, if it doesn't work your video may have burnt out or started to die, get a new one. Maybe try more memory as well
Defragment your hard drive, get rid of unused and unwanted programs, add RAM, check your registry for old and corruped entries, clear your catch, increase the size of your paging file.
