Basically i downloaded Football manager 2011 on two computers(PC %26amp; laptop) and created a network so i can access files. Is there a way i can save my game in one computer and then go to the laptop and open the game and play from where i left off (saved game on computer).???How can i play a computer game and save it on one computer and then carry on where i left off from another PC?
Use a USB drive to transfer save files... Or you can change the game's save directory to be on the USB drive (on both systems). Moving saves back and forth when starting or finishing is also an option but will require more work.
This is useful if you aren't always on the same network as the other machine (assuming you ever are I guess). How can i play a computer game and save it on one computer and then carry on where i left off from another PC?
if the two machines are connected through the same network and can share files have the saved file directory for the game point to the same folder for each that way it is virtually the same thing on both machines. there should be an option somewhere to choose the save file directory. How can i play a computer game and save it on one computer and then carry on where i left off from another PC?
The legal version of Football Manager 2011 features Steam as an online community system and automatically saves your user data on the Steam Cloud.
Buy the game like normal people do (assuming you haven't) and don't worry about such things anymore.
