How long till you can make your own computer game?
I know it takes a long time but how many estimated months would it take to learn c++ and direct x until you can create a:
1 Simple 2d game
2 side scroller 2d game
3 simple 3d game
4 a good fun and playable 3d game
I have been learning c++ for about 2 months now but from the vary start with little knowledge and say learning 1-2 hours a day every day.How long till you can make your own computer game?
It takes as long as it takes.

Eh, it depends on your learning rate/sourced. I learned AS2 in a short while, but I don't know C++. Still, I don't think it should take too long. :P
