How do I find out if my computer meets the system requirements to install a game?

I'm just curious where on my computer I can find the information that it lists on computer games as the minimum requirements to run the game. ie:

Optical Drive: 16X or Faster CD/DVD Drive

CPU Speed

Display: AGP video card with 64 MB or more of memory + NVIDIA GeForce 3 or greater or a ATI Radeon 8500 or greater
