How to transfer a computer game to a laptop computer?

I recently purchased The Sims2 Double Deluxe computer game disc. I want to play it on my laptop but it doesn't have a disc slot. Is there anyway I can simply transfer the game's data from my PC to my laptop computer?

If your "laptop" doesn't have a disk drive, it's not a laptop, it's a netbook. You'll need an external drive.



You can't transfer programs (a game is a program), they have to be installed.How to transfer a computer game to a laptop computer?
A better question to ask is... Can your netbook run the game at all, if it doesn't even have an optical drive?
