Any suggestions for a good computer game?

I am wanting to get a new computer game, I have a mac, though I do run PC on Parallels. I love Civ IV and am into strategy, planning and building sorts of games. I am thinking of getting Spore.



Is Spore a good game?

Spore is an excellent game but mines broke cell stage will take you 10-30 mins to do and has no stragety at all creature stage is the same but may take up to 3 hours to complete tribal stage and civilisation stage use only stragety and combined you'll be doing them for 4 hours space stage is like creature just being a veichle instead.Any suggestions for a good computer game?
i think spore is a good game. there is also spore creator. also there are the "tycoon" series which has prison tycoons, all kinds of roller coaster tycoons, zoo tycoons, lemonade tycoons, hospital tycoons, airline tycoons, mall tycoons, and ect. in tycoons you can build your own buildings and manage them. they can be bought at wal mart in the pc section.

Age of Mythology-s 2 and 3, Starcraft, and flash games are enough to keep my strategy obsession full.

I also like this online card-game called Kongai I play sometimes... it has strategy and it's really fun, but the strategy is weird and not at all like a planning/building game.
this isnt very helpful. but i no theres a game where u create a virus ahnd try to wipe out the world....yea its a bit creepy but fun...in a morbid sora way. I forgot what it was called...srry :(
