I have this computer game and I loaded an EXTREMELY heavy duty mod that is really fun, but lags an awful lot. Is there any way that I can stop it from lagging by buying a better processor or memory card or something? Is there anything I could do to reduce lag on my computer game?
Depends what your bottleneck is ... whether the lag is occuring due to not enough processing power, not enough RAM, too much read/write to a slow hard drive, or a bottlenecking graphics card all would need different solutions.
Check how much RAM you have, and how up to date your video card is. If your card is older, get a new one and you should be fine. If you don't have much memory, get more RAM.Is there anything I could do to reduce lag on my computer game?
Hm, try making your space in your computer and also, run virus scans. Make sure you don't install a lot of things or it will slow you down. PS: are you Arabic?
I'm running one of these. Nothing lags EVER!Is there anything I could do to reduce lag on my computer game?
First look at how much RAM you have in your computer. If you have a 32bit system, you can put in up to 4GB of ram, but usually only 3-3.5GB of ram is recognized by your computer. If you have a 64bit operating system, you can put a lot more ram in it 4GB+. This is the first thing you should consider, as it is a cheap and effective solution. Just make sure the type of Ram you buy matches the ram you have in you computer already. Bring it to the store just to be safe.
You need to take three steps to speed up your computer and reduce lag:
1. Add RAM
2. Uninstall software鈥檚 that you do not use.
3. Select a good PC optimizer %26amp; Registry Cleaner such as Reginout from Intel Software Directory http://ibx.intel.com/directory/Default.a鈥?/a>
I am sure these three steps will help you a lot.
Thanks.
