From What I've Been Reading on the Internet, It Seems You Can Play a Xbox Game on a Computer. However, I Have Call of Duty 4 For My Computer, and Recently Got an Xbox 360, is it Possible for Me to Use My Computer Disk of Call of Duty 4 on My Xbox Console?
Thanks In Advance! Are You Able to Play a Computer Game on an Xbox 360 Console?
Nope, definitely not.
First of all it's like sticking a DVD in your car's cd player, two totally different formats.
And also all xbox game disks are written backwards. (Confusing) Pretend the data on the disks is words, for PC you write it left to right, for Xbox and any other game console its right to left. (Figuratively of course.) So yeah...
You have the disk, a computer, and an XBox 360 right there in front of you, so why don't you just put the disk in the 360 and see if it works? You would have your answer in a matter of seconds without wasting all that time entering your question here and waiting for people to tell you what they think. Are You Able to Play a Computer Game on an Xbox 360 Console?
I don't think you can do that. But put the disc in and give it a try, it wouldnt hurt anything/.
No, it wont read it.Are You Able to Play a Computer Game on an Xbox 360 Console?
No that wont work.
NO
no it wont read

Learning how to make games is a long process.
http://www.gamemaker.nl/ will get you started. Follow tutorials, start by drag drop game design, slowly advance into better games with scripting. Once you master this program you're ready for the real stuff. Website is in English.
There is also a forum on the website.
Good Luck !

What type of computer game should I get that has a lan connection?
I try to go to the Community Center every Friday. There are five computers there that have a lan connection but no internet. All the computers are gaming computers. And I want to buy a PC game for the Community Center but I don't know what is Hot right now. Can you help me?What type of computer game should I get that has a lan connection?
Dude. Almost every multiplayer game has LAN on PC. There are good old school games, but if you want the hot stuff right now, BFBC2, Rainbow Six 2, Sins of a Solar Empire, Starcraft, the list goes on and on.What type of computer game should I get that has a lan connection?
Counter Strike 2 is always great.
Starcraft: Broodwar as mentioned but takes time to learn if your having friends who dont know how.
If you have xbox controlers, Madden 11, or get xboxs together to have halo lan party.

What is a large, graphics heavy, RAM and memory needy computer game?
I am looking for a pc game that needs a pretty jacked up computer to be played on. i want to buy a new graphics card that is above the recommended standards of most games, so i want to know a huge game to compare to. if you have any big, needy games, tell me.What is a large, graphics heavy, RAM and memory needy computer game?
Crisis is the game which own d best graphics award in 2007-08. but I think COD 5 is even more than crisis. If u change d graphics settings and display resolution,it becomes awesome and more realistic than crisisWhat is a large, graphics heavy, RAM and memory needy computer game?
Crysis. You'd need a supercomputer to run that on max settings...What is a large, graphics heavy, RAM and memory needy computer game?
I second Crysis. About a year ago I had the best PC technology available and while it would run at almost max settings, it was choppy as hell.

Is pixel shader and vertex shader necessary to run a computer game?
Is it necessary to play a computer game without pixel shader 1.0/ vertex shader 1.0, on low settings? Is pixel shader and vertex shader necessary to run a computer game?
Depends on the game.
Games are built assuming certain video hardware exists. If the game requires Pixel Shader 3.0, and your video card doesn't support it, the game (or at least parts of it) won't play on your computer. Is pixel shader and vertex shader necessary to run a computer game?
Yes it is neccesary you can barely play solataire :Ojdm fun girl games

I was playing a computer game then my computer froze and shut down the game. Why?
I was playing SimCity 4 Deluxe then my computer froze and returned to the desktop default page as is the computer has just been restarted. Worst of all my game hadnt been saved. This time I was playing for less than 20 mins. Usually it happens after about an hour or two. It also happens on my laptop. This problem is just specific to this game. What can I do?I was playing a computer game then my computer froze and shut down the game. Why?
There are many other random causes of system freezes, such as overheating of components, hardware conflicts, and hardware malfunctioning. You can prevent most of the problems associated with Windows freeze ups by performing regular preventive maintenance of your PC. Always keep your work area and PC dust free. Install hardware that is compatible with your operating system and other components currently installed on your computer. Use hard disk tools such as Disk Defragmenter and Disk Cleanup to keep the hard disk free from errors and unwanted files. Always keep your PC updated with the latest security releases and patches. Regularly update and run antivirus and anti-spyware scans on your computer to keep it free from malicious files. And last but not least, get a reliable registry cleaner http://cleanup-comuter-run-perfectly.com software and it detects the most pc problems,Cleans registry, fixes errors, and optimizes your PC for better performance.Prevent application crashes; Load windows faster; Run applications smoothly; Maintain your system like new; Manage your Internet Explore more handle; Regain disk space; Protects your privacy; Easy to use, saving you time and energy; Unlimited free technical support; Prevents PC from Freezing or Crashing.I was playing a computer game then my computer froze and shut down the game. What extinct computer/video game would you like to see revived (produced and marketed again)?
I LOVED Sim Tower. I also loved Tropico and The Adventures of Lolo for Nintendo. What video/computer game would you like to see re-done and made available for sale again? What extinct computer/video game would you like to see revived (produced and marketed again)?
Its not a game but i'd like to see more Star wars! What extinct computer/video game would you like to see revived (produced and marketed again)?
There are a number of games which were ridiculously stupid but could be made over and made MUCH better.
Some very early Lucasfilm games such as Ballblazer, Rescue on Fractalus or some really good version of Master of Orion 2, which was and is playable - even today (some 18 years later). Some might suggest Spore, is in fact that game, but really it's not, as others have said, Spore is more or less a mile wide and an inch deep. Basically I think a really high quality 4x type explore that galaxy type game that was as open-ended as technology allows, would be awesome to see. What extinct computer/video game would you like to see revived (produced and marketed again)?
I'd say Marathon, but you can get that for free now. For old school video games that you can't get, I would either go with the text based adventure-type-games, or those old arcade games. Nethack is cool too, but you can get that (I can't quite remember where).
Hey, if you want Marathon, though (it's awesome, I highly recommend it), you can do this:
Download the latest version of AlephOne here: http://source.bungie.org/get/
AlephOne is the emulator for the games. It's the middle set of boxes on the website, make sure to choose the correct one for your operating system.
Next, download Marathon from the same place. It's the first box, the one with the word "Marathon" on it.
After that, you'll need to unzip both of the files you've downloaded. Then duplicate the AlephOne application and put it in the "Marathon" file. Finally, open AlephOne (the one in the marathon file) and start playing.
You may want to check the controls in the preferences before you start playing. I set move forward to 'w' backward to 's' sidestep left and right to 'a' and 'd' and trigger with the mouse button and 2nd trigger with the left mouse button. Make sure to turn on mouse control, unless you have a laptop and want to play with only the keyboard. Also, set the graphics to full screen mode, and a higher resolution.
Also, there are other scenarios (like the second and third marathon, durandal and infinity) that you can download and put the alephone app into. You may want to try some of these.
And there ya go. Have fun! If you have trouble, there should be places online that tell you how to do it.
